From 11–13 September 2025, the International Supreme Sheep Dog Trials return to North Wales, taking place just a stone’s throw from The Hand Hotel at the stunning Brynkinalt Estate in Chirk. This prestigious event brings together the finest sheepdogs and handlers from across the UK, Ireland, and beyond, showcasing the remarkable skill, intelligence, and teamwork involved in the age-old craft of sheep herding.
Held under the direction of the International Sheep Dog Society, the trials are a long-standing celebration of countryside heritage, attracting both seasoned spectators and curious newcomers. Across the three days of competition, guests can witness dogs navigate complex courses, respond to subtle whistle commands, and perform with precision in a bid for the championship title.
