For the first time, Wrexham will host the prestigious ITF World Tennis Tour Women’s 100 Tournament, bringing international tennis talent to North Wales. Witness elite-level competition and enjoy a fantastic atmosphere just a short drive from The Hand Hotel.
From 19–26 October 2025, Wrexham will take centre stage in the international sporting calendar as it hosts the Lexus Wrexham Open — part of the prestigious ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour. Held at the newly refurbished Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre, this landmark event brings elite-level competition to North Wales, showcasing some of the top rising stars in women’s tennis.
The tournament, which has grown significantly in recent years, is expected to attract top-100 ranked international players, along with the best British talent. Hosted in a purpose-built indoor arena with a 600-seat capacity, the event provides an exciting opportunity for spectators to watch world-class tennis up close — all just a short journey from The Hand Hotel.
