A Week of Creativity for All Ages

- Art, craft, and making
- Drama and creative writing
- Ceramics and exhibitions
- Music and performance
The festival attracts families, young people, and creatives of all backgrounds, with over 3,000 attendees in previous years — a figure expected to grow again in 2026.
Main Festival Day & Lantern Parade
Saturday 21 February marks the festival’s main celebration day, with activities running throughout Oswestry town centre. The highlight of the week is the Lantern Parade, where participants of all ages bring handmade lanterns to light up the winter sky.
The parade features returning favourites such as the Snow Queen stiltwalker and Bubble Fairies, alongside exciting new elements introduced each year, creating a magical finale to the festival.
Love Oswestry is a joyful celebration of creativity, community, and culture — a perfect winter event for visitors looking to experience something unique in the region.
